Current Fishing Trends

Spokane Tribal Fisheries has been operating a reservoir wide creel program in conjunction with the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation and the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. In 2014 we began a protocol and modernization update of our methods and technology to incorporate near real-time access to catch data.

Creel clerks will be utilizing electronic methods of data collecting. The data will be uploaded to the servers several times per week providing near real-time access to catch information.

Currently raw data of historical angler and catch is available from 2006-2016 and 2017 data is being imported into the database and will be made available shortly. Data for 2018 will go live sometime this year.

Please note, this information is currently actual counts and interviews and does not include reservoir wide catch and harvest estimates which are available in our annual reports at www.cbfish.org.
